A Church of Difference Makers, Making a Difference. A people willing to go and fulfill their God ordained created purpose for life. Psalms 139:13-14 and Matthew 28:18-20
Psalms 139:13-16 (The Living Bible)
13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother’swomb. 14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. 15 You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! 16 You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!
Matthew 28:18-20 (New International Version)
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
The Holy Trinity
God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son of God and the Holy Spirit God the Father the Creator of all that exists, Jesus Christ our Redeemer and the Holy Spirit our Counselor. (Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:13-14; John 14: 25-26; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
Jesus being the Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, displayed the ultimate sacrifice of love and gave his life for us. He was crucified and buried for our transgressions and rose from the grave on the third day. He ascended to the Father to be seated at His right hand as Royal Priest and Advocate for the forgiveness of our sins so we may share in eternity with Him. Through the selfless sacrifice of Jesus, man can be reconciled to the Father through forgiveness of sin. There is only one way to the Father and that way is
through Jesus Christ. (Matt 1:18-25; Philippians 2:5–11; 1Peter 2: 24–25; Hebrews 4:14-16; 1 Thessalonians 4: 16-18; John 4:6)
The Holy Spirit
Jesus promised He would never leave us as orphans but He would leave us the Holy Spirit to dwell within us and help us in our walk. The Holy Spirit does not bear witness of himself but of Christ and leads us in the way of truth. He is our Comforter, our teacher our helper and our guide. (1Corinthians 2:9-13; John 14:26; 16:13-15; 1Corinthians 12)
The Gift of Salvation
Salvation is freely given to us through the price paid by Jesus Christ. There is nothing you or Ican do to earn it or buy it. It is by God’s grace through faith that we receive the gift of salvation. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16; Romans 3:23-24)
Upon accepting the gift of salvation we become members of the body of Christ. We are united together in the commonality of faith in Jesus Christ. We come together in worship prayer and the teaching of Gods Holy Word. We observe the sacraments of water baptism and communion. There is encouragement, strength and unity when we assemble together as brothers and sisters in the faith. When the body of believers comes together there is a presence of God that we can’t experience as individuals. True unity looks beyond denomination, color, and culture, for there is only one culture we seek, The Kingdom Culture. (Matthew 18:20; Hebrews 10: 23-25; Acts 2:38;1 Corinthians 11: 24-26; 1 Corinthians 12: 12-26; Romans 15: 5-6)

We have a saying at Elevate Church “I AM A DIFFERENCE MAKER, MAKING A DIFFERENCE”
It’s one thing to say it, but another to actually live it. In order to make a difference there must be a passion that burns longer than feeling, and a determination that is stronger than human reasoning.
Let us make a difference together
